License Terms

Commercial and evaluation licensing terms for SOVEL systems, production engines, documentation and client deliverables.

1. Scope of License

All digital products offered by SOVEL are licensed, not sold. Unless a product-specific license states otherwise, the standard SOVEL commercial license applies as described below. These terms govern the permitted use of SOVEL systems (such as AI Engineering OS), production engines (such as Book Creation Engine and Content Gap Finding Engine), and utility software.

2. Permitted Commercial Use

Under a standard commercial license, you are granted a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide license to:

  • Deploy the engine or system within your own internal organization, personal projects, or client engagements.
  • Produce derivative end-products: Original works created by the customer using SOVEL products remain the customer’s works, subject to SOVEL’s underlying intellectual property rights and any applicable third-party or open-source licenses. Finished books, software applications, published research reports, and client deliverables created using SOVEL engines are 100% owned by you. You retain full copyright over your end-product output without royalties or mandatory attribution.
  • Modify internal configuration files, prompts, and execution parameters to adapt the system to your technical stack.

3. Prohibited Exploitation

The following uses are strictly prohibited:

  • Redistributing, mirroring, packaging, or reselling raw SOVEL engine files, checklists, architecture templates, or proprietary prompt chains.
  • Re-packaging the SOVEL methodology as a competing commercial product operating system, commercial course, or template library.
  • Sharing single-user license credentials or download access with third parties outside your authorized team.

4. Third-Party and Open Source Carve-Out

Third-party, open-source, customer-provided, platform-provided, or separately licensed components remain subject to their respective licenses. Tools published under the Free Tools section and client-side browser utilities are licensed under permissive terms as noted in their source headers. Included typography (Inter and EB Garamond) is governed by the SIL Open Font License (OFL).

SOVEL does not utilize centralized activation DRM, remote kill switches, or online license surveillance for downloadable deliverables.
